Hey, What’s up guys I’m one of your Young Detroit Show hosts — Tyler Beltz and recently I had the opportunity of a lifetime by not only getting to meet ”Looks Like Sex” and “Cooler Than Me” singer Mike Posner but I along with Niko (Your other Young Detroit Show host) got the chance to interview him in a suite at The Palace of Auburn Hills! Check out my recap blog about everything that has taken place this weekend and to re-live my experience with Michigan’s own Mike Posner.
On Friday, February 17th, 2012…I met Mike Posner and got the chance to hangout with him in a suite along with Niko and some pretty cool Channel 955 listeners that won tickets to hangout with Mike that day. (Shoutouts to : Lisa, Susan, Barbara and Wendy) It was nice meeting all of you!!! I am so glad that we got the chance to meet each and every one of you.
Mike Posner was EXTREMELY nice to me and we hung out and talked a lot! We talked about basketball and even kicked it with each other and sat next to each other watching the Detroit Piston’s game (Congratulations to the Detroit Pistons on winning against the Sacramento Kings). YES, Ladies…Mike gave me a piece of Trident Layers – WILDSTRAWBERRY+TANGYCITRUS.
There were many people Mike Posner could have talked to but I felt that me and him talked a LOT during the Pistons game on Friday. We high fived each other, fist bumped each other and overall I think me and Mike had a really good bond (Kinda like a brotherly bond). Somebody even asked me if I was Mike’s younger brother.
During Niko and my interview with Mike, We talked about dating, advice, his newest album Sky High and more! I asked Mike during the interview what advice would he give to single guys like myself and he said that he saw me flirting with the older girls in the suite and that he wanted to learn from Tyler! (Me).
Mike Posner is a great guy inside and out! He is SUPER nice and very talented! Niko and me both had a fun as ever time and we would do anything to go back in time and re-live each second of that day! I would also like to thank Michael McCoy from Channel 955 Detroit (Clear Channel Radio Station), Uneek Collection for sponsoring my outfit during the interview and also for hooking up Mike Posner with a swagger shirt (the same shirt I wore) and another Uneek Collection shirt, and a special thanks to Mike Posner himself and his management for allowing us to interview him! We hope we get another chance to interview Mike in the upcoming future!
