ENOUGH is enough. I am sick and tired of seeing people getting picked on whether it’s in my high school, in the community or even online. Social networking sites like Facebook & Twitter have made it very easily accessible to simply click and say something mean about somebody else. Majority of schools claim they are fighting against bullying but they really don’t do anything. SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE!
Enough is enough. Now is the time to stand up against bullying. Join myself and the entire Young Detroit Show staff on Stand 4 Change Day and be a part of this historic rallying point for the anti-bullying movement.
Imagine millions of students and teachers across North America “Stand 4 Change” to demonstrate their commitment to putting an end to bullying. On May 4, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. EST, that image will become a reality as we all stop, stand and let the world know that we will no longer tolerate bullying in our schools and our communities. Your participation in this continent-wide community action will show people across the globe that it is not only okay to stand up to bullying, it is the right thing to do. Together, we can improve the lives of millions of young people, and help to save lives in the process.
IS YOUR SCHOOL SIGNED UP YET?: Over 5,000 schools have signed up! (At LEAST one school from ALL 50 states in the United States) as well as 36 different countries! That is over A MILLION KIDS! Has your school signed up to Stand 4 Change? To learn how you can talk to your schools administration and get your school apart of this epic day please visit http://stand4change.org/students.php.
